I don't know about ya'll, but ice cream is so awesome this time of year. My husband and I try new flavors all the time. Our latest try was Salted Carmel.

Gail Gibbons is wonderful with any of the nonfiction books she has written...and she has written quite a few!

Ice Cream: The Full Scoop first starts with a little history of ice cream. From there it moves to "The Ice-Cream Maker." Finally it covers "The Ice-Cream Business" which explains the process of making ice cream from cow milk to buying it at the store! The back matter gives some extra information about ice cream that may be a great place to find ideas to research!

I hope you enjoy...and maybe go out and buy a half gallon!
